Roofing
Roof sheeting
We stock IBR and corrugated roof sheeting. Both come in galvanised, and colour material is available.
IBR sheeting
IBR has a square rib shape. It is strong and it spans further than corrugated, so you can space your purlins wider and use less timber. Most new roofs in Gauteng use IBR.
Use it for houses, warehouses, factories, farm buildings, workshops, shops, carports and store rooms.
Corrugated sheeting
Corrugated has a wave shape. It does not span as far as IBR, but many people prefer how it looks. It is a good choice for farm buildings, verandas, and when you need to match a roof that is already there.
Which one should you choose?
If you are covering a wide roof and want to use less timber, choose IBR. If you are matching an existing roof, or you want the traditional look, choose corrugated. We stock both. Ask us and we will tell you which one suits your job.
